  1. John A. Wagner, 93, call sign N2DMZ, life member of the Jefferson County Radio Amateur Club, formerly of Adams passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home, Watertown, NY. Born December 1, 1917, in Adams, NY, he was the only child of Holland A. and Catherine (Balch) Wagner. He married Violet E. Reed September 5, 1940. The couple lived in Adams all their married life. Mrs. Wagner died January 22, 2011. John went to work for the U.S. Postal Service at Adams in 1936, and then served in the Army during WWII from 1943 until 1946.
