Meeting Minutes for JCRAC

The minutes of the previous meeting, on 11 September, were read by the vice president. Fred, KC2EQF moved to accept the minutes as read. Fred, KC2KBQ seconded the motion and the minutes were approved by a unanimous vote.
The treasurer's report was read by Mal Adsit, KC2CUJ. Gary, WA2TOR, moved that Mal's report to be
approved. Fred, KC2KBQ, seconded the
motion. It was approved by unanimous
vote.
Old Business
Don, KB2VMR, reported that he has the new locks from Ernie. He is looking for some assistance to install the locks. (This is in addition to various other chores that need to be done around the club house.)

The tentative slate of officers for the upcoming year was discussed. We started with the initial list of Fred, KC2EQF for President, Mark, WB2PKO for Vice-President, Mel, KC2CUJ for Treasurer, and Delores, KC2KYN for Secretary. During discussion we realized that we had not identified a new Activities Director and had not discussed the one-year trustee. We telephoned Ron, WB2LCE to ask if he would continue in the trustee position and he agreed.
Fred, KC2KBQ moved that the acting secretary cast one vote to accept the slate of candidates. Ruth, N2VDK seconded the motion and a unanimous vote approved the motion.
The acting secretary recorded the vote for the following candidates:
Fred Weidner, KC2EQF for President
Mark Chamberlin, WB2PKO for Vice-President
Mel Adsit, KC2CUJ for Treasurer
Delores Maeder, KC2KYN for Secretary
Ron Sixbury, WB2LCE for One-Year Trustee.
New Business
Mark, WB2PKO, offered to visit Nelson, KB2SVQ, to retrieve club materials.
Mel, KC2CUJ reminded everyone that the Fall Ball dinner will be next Saturday 14 October at the Northside Improvement League.
