Committee Report: Field days report read by Activities Director
Mike Lawson (KC2JGA).
Thanks to Ric Letson (NB2E), Joe Loveland (WB2TUP), Phillip Cox (KC5AMQ),
and Ernie Jeican (WB2ASL) for all the help and
equipment donated for use during field days.
Thank you to everyone who donated food for the field days event. A special thanks to Harry Comet (KC2KYX) who came down and made a nice breakfast for
everyone during field days, and to Paul Barben (KC2GWT)
for bringing in donuts for everyone. The
results of field days can be found on the clubs website.
Summer Picnic: Everything is setup and ready to go as of now
for the Summer Picnic in August.
Old Business: A revision was made to the proposed changes
of the Constitution and Bylaws in Article 7 that was previously
overlooked. A revision was also made to
Article 4. It was discussed in length
and decided that Absentee ballots will be accepted.
Repeater Discussion: A proposal was made that Mike (KC2FTN) put a link on our 76 repeater for echo link so our snow birds, as well as others, could
communicate during winter months or otherwise.
Joe Loveland (WB2TUP) states that anyone wishing to learn code should
listen to the 76 repeater everynight between 8 and
New Business: Elections were held and the following
positions were nominated and filled:
Trustee: Ernie Jeican
Secretary: Dondre Leibman
Activities Director: Ric Letson
Tim Scee expresses thanks
and gratitude to the members of the club for their kindness and support and
states that the club and its members were as dear to his father (WB2AOI) Bill Scee, as he was to them.
Jim Dupre (K2PNA) asks that the members send out prayers and support
for fellow amateur radio operator (WB2BSR) Richard
(Dick) Maitland.
